Are wood-plastic materials still using traditional anti-UV agents?

Are traditional anti-uv agents still used in plastic-wood materials?

Plastic-wood composite material originated in North America, and it is a new type of composite material which is rapidly heating up at home and abroad in recent years. Because the plastic-wood composite contains plastics and plant fibers, it has wood-like processing performance, and is obviously superior to wood and other synthetic materials in mechanical properties, nail holding power, durability, etc., and the material has strong plasticity and can be recycled and reproduced. Many advantages make the plastic-wood composite go up all the way in market application, alleviating the shortage of wood natural resources to a certain extent, which is of great significance for protecting forest resources.

With the development of market, plastic-wood materials are more and more widely used in building materials, furniture, logistics and packaging industries. However, in the application process, because plastic-wood materials contain plastic components, problems such as fading, cracking and pulverization caused by light, high temperature or air pollutants will inevitably occur. Therefore, adding antioxidants and anti-aging additives to plastic-wood materials has become a necessary option to solve the above problems.
