DSUNPRO^TM EHS, also known as octisalate or ethylhexyl salicylate, is an effective, safe, and economic UVB absorber suitable for a variety of sun protection formulations. The oil-soluble filter is widely used to make water-resistant SPF formulations. It is often used with other UV filters as it is both an excellent solvent for solid UV absorbers like avobenzone as well as a great solubilizer for solid and crystalline sunscreen agents like octocrylene.
