BP3 also plays a crucial role in stabilizing color and fragrance and helping active ingredients from oxidation. BP3 is found in hair sprays and other cosmetic products to protect against sun damage, and it is used in nail polish as a UV filter and stabilizer at concentrations up to 1.0%. BP3 can also be used in sectors other than cosmetics, such as for plastics.
